EGSA (Economic Growth Support Activity) is an USAID funded project aims to supports Indonesia’s economic growth. The area of support include assisting the Government of Indonesia (GOI) in strengthening its capacity with respect to effective tax collection and execution of the budget; helping USAID/Indonesia strengthen it’s working relationship with central government ministries in support of future collaboration with USAID/Indonesia; and supporting USAID/Indonesia in identifying partners to support and leverage their activities within the GOI, donors, and the private sector.
EGSA is working in close consultation with respected parties like donors, government agency as well as private sectors. EGSA is effectively started its activity since November 2019.
Currently EGSA is looking for:
- RESEARCH ASSISTANT (RA – 4 positions)
The RA is responsible in provide technical support in coordinating, delivering and monitoring of the public financial management, economic growth and business enabling environment program and to ensure its smooth implementation. The RA will also play a key role in providing project management technical support to multiple partners and functions as a liaison with the partners.
RAs will in areas related to economic growth, such as strengthening market institutions, or women’s economic empowerment; public financial management; and, improving the business enabling environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist technical experts and consultants in conducting research, preparing reports, arranging schedules, and facilitating contacts.
Collect and compile data, documents, format tables, edit reports, and assist technical experts deliver trainings.
Assists technical expert in the smooth management of the project, preparing TOR, and carrying out proper administration and coordination with the other team.
Prepare meeting invitations, meeting material, venue and accommodation.
Carry out administrative tasks as required such as prepare attendance list, activities report, reconcile travel expenditures.
Serves as communication liaison between project team and partners regarding project status and issues that need follow up.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.
Experience in conducting research, analysis or reporting an issues on relevant field.
Bachelor’s degree, in economics, public administration/public policy, finance, math or statistics, or other relevant fields.
Strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills
Familiar with statistical data analysis i: e Stata and SPSS (preferable).
Advanced in Microsoft Office skills
Proficiency in English oral and written
Ability translate document Bahasa – English vice versa
