Meanwhile, the speakers were attended by Ida Digon as Vice Director of SMI-SME Export Diaspora Indonesia in France, Ira Damayanti as Founder & Chairwoman at Indonesia Diaspora SME Export Empowerment & Development of Indonesian Diaspora in America, and Tengku Irham as Deputy Chairperson of the Association of Business Development Services. Indonesia/MSME Assistance Association (ABDSI).

The event was opened with remarks from Dr. Totok Bintoro who replaced the Chancellor of UNJ because at the same time there was a concurrent event, he said “thank you to the resource persons who are willing to attend to help us realize our vision.” said Dr. Totok Bintoro.

Currently, the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) is developing a target village in Cisaat village, Subang, West Java. Some time ago we had online discussions with Mrs. Ida and Mrs. Ira, one of the programs that are ready and can be socialized is through the Indonesian diaspora the homestay program , where tourists and foreign students can visit there besides enjoying the beauty of the village, they can also live a temporary life. there with the Cisaat village community.

Furthermore, Mrs. Ira explained, we are here to be present in developing Indonesia to go international, for example by helping MSMEs to be more daring to colonize internationally and with our presence as a diaspora helping MSMEs to be famous in foreign markets.

“We also need ladies and gentlemen here as academics, in helping educate SMEs. How do they sell, understand competitiveness and have elite value in each product. That’s why we join hands to help and strengthen each other.” Said Mrs. Ira.

Tengku Irham explained that our downstream problem is the issue of competitiveness, we have known from 20 years ago, for that I am here with UNJ to strengthen upstream first. Other problems that arise also in the HR sector, we as MSME companions find it difficult to assist, for that we offer cooperation for assistance to MSMEs, for students who want to do internships, so that we are assisted by academics who also assist, “

Furthermore, Mrs. Ida explained her hope that apart from fostering MSMEs and developing tourist villages, hopefully in the future UNJ will have a smart class to produce better human resources that will be needed in the industrial world later.

“My next dream is with the fostered village. UNJ can make an English village. So that the English village is closer to us. Actually, UNJ already has a teacher from FBS. UNJ can also make French textbooks to be used in schools throughout Indonesia. They can even make Indonesian recipe books to introduce them even more.” Mrs. Ida said in her presentation.

“Today we are entering an extraordinary stage, our goal is to open a mindset for us as entrepreneur universities so that we can do much for society and the nation. After this stage we focus on each other’s abilities, Cisaat village is an initial model. If this works. So many regional heads will ask UNJ to make it a target village.” said Dr. Full-blooded in ending today’s discussion.
